Spectra reads data from your device's built-in accelerometer, orientation/compass sensor, microphone, and (where supported) ambient light and magnetometer sensors. It establishes a short local baseline for each sensor and then flags moments when two or more of those readings deviate from that baseline at the same time. That is the entire function of the product: statistical anomaly detection across mundane, well-understood physical sensors.
A sensor measures a defined physical quantity — acceleration, magnetic flux, sound pressure, light intensity. Building a "detector" for a claimed phenomenon requires an established, testable mapping between that phenomenon and a physical signal it produces. No such mapping is recognised by physics or any peer-reviewed science for paranormal entities. Any product, including this one, that reports "anomalies" is reporting exactly that — deviations in ordinary sensor data — and nothing more. Interpreting the cause of any given anomaly is left entirely to you.
Spectra is provided for entertainment, hobbyist paranormal-investigation documentation, and personal environmental-anomaly logging purposes only. Do not rely on it, or on the absence of logged events, to make any decision affecting health, safety, legal standing, real-estate transactions, insurance claims, or any matter of consequence.
Aussi-Nexus Group makes no representation that any event logged by Spectra has any particular cause, paranormal or otherwise. All interpretation of logged data is performed by the user, at the user's sole discretion and risk.
